Kon Tiki Restaurant & Lounge: A Tiki Escape in Tucson

Everything about this place is AMAZING. My 1st time was November 4th of this year, and it became my new favorite spot. I've been back twice, since my Birthday, all in the same month. Every time was a great experience. I have never had such great quality Sushi and sashimi, along with other food items (huge selection). All fresh ingredients. Beautiful and creative dishes. I am a big food critic. They get a 10/10. The atmosphere is magnificent. It's definitely a hidden gem! You wouldn't be disappointed. Let's not forget how welcoming and friendly the staff at Kontiki in Wellington FL are wonderful. The Homemade Thai tea is out of this world, nothing compares to it!

Came here on my birthday while on vacation. I haven’t had such amazing sushi in over three years where I live. I was in heaven. The food and atmosphere was great. Our waitress Morning was adorable and on top of her game. My husband got the Osso Bucco it was so tender and he was very happy with his meal. We got the pad Thai and shrimp fried rice to share. My kids and I got the sushi and like I already said. It was absolutely amazing! I didn’t want it to end. The fish was fresh and buttery, the rolls weren’t shoved full of rice like many places. Superb! Thank you for making my birthday memorable.

I’ve been going to Kontiki for years now because the food is delicious, the vibes are fun, and the service is outstanding! Their best bar tender/server Tan is incredibly sweet, attentive and treats me like family! I highly recommend this place for a fun date night or good time celebrating with friends in Wellington!

We came here to celebrate a birthday, amazing!!! I highly recommend coming here for any reason. The people working there was the best part! Very welcoming and truly felt like they were apart of our celebrations. You will not be disappointed. The food was fresh, and delicious Thank you Kon Kiki for a wonderful night.

It’s got this awesome, upscale but still relaxed feel—super mesmerizing and instantly makes the whole experience feel special. Whether you sit inside with the tropical decor or snag a table outside, the vibe is just right. ​ The Food: So Fresh, So Good ​If you love sushi and Asian fusion, you are going to be in heaven. The food here is ridiculously fresh and absolutely delicious. ​The fish is top-notch, and the rolls are beautiful. Everything just melts in your mouth. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. ​Menu Mix: Beyond sushi, they have a fantastic Thai and Asian-inspired dishes along with many other options. I've tried a bunch of stuff, and it's all flavorful. ​Kontiki is one of those spots that just delivers on everything: killer atmosphere, amazing food, and great service. It's definitely a step up from your average dinner spot but still feels totally welcoming and relaxed. Go for the food, stay for the stunning ambiance and atmosphere.

Just ate here for the first time in years and thought I’d leave an updated review. Just like last time I was here, all the food was delicious and I have no complaints in that regard. Seriously some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. I don’t drink, but all my friends who had drinks had no complaints (other than pricing but I’ll get to that). The atmosphere here is also really nice. Every weekend they have a DJ and dance floor set up with music loudly playing. The bar is immaculate and the art on all the walls is eye catching. If you’re looking for something more quiet, you can eat outside where they have heat lamps set up if it gets chilly. The service has slightly improved since I was last here. I remember complaining that it was slow for the price, and that’s only partially true now. Some dishes come fast while others seem to take almost an hour. For example, it took us only about 5 minutes to get the Kontiki Nachos (a must have appetizer) and about 30 minutes to get the Tuna Tower which we ordered when we got the nachos. I know I’m being picky but for how expensive everything is, I’m expecting everything to be top notch, including service. That said, the pricing has gotten even worse. I understand that this is amazing food and you pay for what you get and inflation has been bad but almost $20 for a single hand roll just seems insane. The main dish signature rolls that are much bigger on the same menu cost less. I can go to other sushi places around and get that same hand roll for literally 6-7$ and it looks and tastes exactly the same. Overall, this is a good place to go with friends (so long as everyone is willing to spend the money) and a great place to go with a date, as I noticed most people there were doing. Be wary of the service and pricing issues, and the food will ensure that your dinner here will be unforgettably tasty.

Yesterday we where again in this restaurant and because we had a great waiter service the waiters name was morning I change my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Morning , our waiter brightened up our whole evening by recommending dishes , by her nice smile and mood ..A truly amazing waiter . We had an amazing evening with my girlfriend! The waiters were kind, but not too efficient, although there were few customers. The cocktails were delicious, the tuna was excellent! It turned out that we got there on the day of the superball, it was a little noisy for us. But they kindly changed the table for us, a little further from the TV.

This place is amazing! Our experience so far has been a very positive one. The menu has so many good dishes, and everyone is so friendly and attentive! Price is just right…. We Highly recommend it. Just one thing, the don’t have Thai fried donuts . But they make up for it with the many other delicious desserts!
